Hi Sharon,
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you since we brought our new addition to our family home. I just wanted to share with everyone how grateful I am to know that there are still breeders out there who will go out of their way to please someone. My daughter is so excited to have her new best friend and she even gets along with our cat. How on earth did you get her to use a litterbox? I just love the fact that she does not bark as well. Ahhhh….the silence especially coming from that particular breed is absolutely wonderful. Thank you again for all of your understanding with my particular situation and needs. There needs to be more Chihuahua breeders out there in this world like you. Please let anyone have my contact information who is looking for their next puppy. I will send you updates as soon as I have some time.

She is sleeping with us at night and doing wonderful. She hasn't had any accidents in the bed!!! When we leave for work we put her in a play pen and she is very consistent with using her litter in the pen. It is so nice to come home and not have to clean up any messes! She is having the time of her life chasing and playing with our other two dogs and is so cute when she barks at our guinea pigs. We are very happy customers!
Thanks,
Dawn

Dear Sharon,
I decided to write an update on Little Gem! She is doing very well, and playing with Alex a lot. She seems to like him, and he likes her. Since Alex is the older brother he looks out for her and makes sure she is all right.
They have gotten to like each other so much, that they even sleep in the same house! Even though their relationship is strong , they never seem to like sharing their toys. Every time they play there is always a little wrestling involved.
She is doing well with her food. She eats enough and drinks enough. She is very sweet and we love her a lot. We are all sure we picked the correct puppy!!!
Best wishes, Natalie and her family.

Hi Sharon,
The pups made it through the first night just great. Our little min pin "Tyke" took to them right off. My husband is crazy about them. We named them Max and Minnie.
Thanks for everything
Calley
Hi Sharon,
Good to hear from you. I have been wanting to get back to you. But our new baby's kept me far busier this week than I had expected. And I'm loving it though. Right after I told you the names. I changed the girl to Minnie. She just looks so mouse like to me. So It is now and will remain "Max and Minnie". I took them to see their new vet on Monday. Everyone there fell in love with them. They had their first check up. And everything was great as expected.
Each day of the week Max and Minnie showed us more and more personality. My husband, Don, agrees with me. I couldn't have chosen two better pups. And yes Tyke agrees as well. Max is like the typical big brother. He teases Minnie and bugs her. But she only takes just so much before she gives it right back to him. She is tiny but she is bold. And all the while, Tyke is standing watch over them. And if she thinks one is getting the better of the other. She steps in and puts her nose between them and gently nudges them apart. She wants to romp with them too. But I can tell she is afraid she will hurt them. I just can't tell you how much more fun and love Max and Minnie have add to all of us. They keep us laughing.
I'm not going to have much free time tomorrow being Sunday. And it's almost midnight now. And I have never emailed pictures before. But I should have pictures to you by Monday night.
Until then... bye from the whole bunch of us.
Calley

Sharon,
Attached are some recent pictures of Vito. He is doing great!! He has such a sweet temperament and is getting really fun at play time. Vito is eating well and really enjoying his new home. He sleeps with me all night and potty’s outside in the morning. He loves playing outside and chases the leaves around the yard. He has brought so much joy to our home.
Thanks Sharon for providing us with such a sweet healthy puppy.

Sharon,
I just wanted to thank you for a great experience. Thank you for taking the time to answer my many, many questions. I appreciate that you were more concerned about finding a good home for Scarlet and Brodie more than making a sale. I will recommend you to all of my friends if they are looking to add a new family member. Scarlet and Brodie are well behaved and they use their littler box. They are the sweetest puppies.
Thanks Again,
Robin

Sharon,
Little Prince (whose name is now Kahn) is doing wonderfully. We just got back from a visit to the vet where we got our rabies shot, heart worm preventative, kennel cough vaccine, and flea meds. He weighs 2.5 lbs and is just adorable. The vet said he was really a beautiful and well behaved little guy. He is very intelligent and super loving. We could not be happier with him, plus you did provide such excellent records for him too. I had a wonderful time when I picked him up with you and meeting all your babies. Please feel free to copy this email into your client section and I would be happy to tell any prospective buyers what wonderful, high quality puppies you raise. We will continue to keep in touch. Thanks for everything!!

CIS-BA’s “Masked Magic Fundraiser & Gala” Sneak Peek of “Triton”

Peter Wuenschel, PHD., Communities In Schools-Bay Area Director, wanted to give those who are attending the “Masked Magic CIS - Bay Area Fundraiser & Gala” a sneak peek of “Triton”, just one of the items that will be available at the Masked Magic Fundraiser and Gala’s Silent Auction. “Triton”, a male Chihuahua, has been graciously donated by Sharon Lobo of Precious Paws of Texas and is already stealing the hearts of the Friends of CIS-BA Gala Committee Volunteers.
The gala will be held on Saturday, October 25, at the Nassau Bay Hilton Inn, located at 3000 Nasa Rd 1. The night will feature an evening of dining and entertainment; opening with cocktails at 6:30 pm and program beginning at 7 pm. Entertainment being planned includes Hypnotist David Dean, “Peter, Paul & Mary”, and Magician Don Billings, Silent and Live Auctions, as well as strolling entertainment. The Second Annual Bay Area Idol Competition will crown the 2008 winner from a variety of local talent.
Now, more than ever, CIS-BA is experiencing an urgent need for additional funds to help at-risk students. Due to Hurricane Ike, CIS-BA is has been notified of the increase of need to help current students as well as new students who have enrolled in the Clear Creek and Dickinson Independent School Districts where their programs are operated. Communities In Schools - Bay Area’s mission is to champion the connection of needed community resources with schools to help young people stay in school, successfully learn, and prepare for life. ABOVE IS TRITON AND HIS NEW MOM MARY AND PROUD DAD DAVID THAT LIVE IN THE HOUSTON AREA. THEY TOO PLAY AN ACTIVE ROLE IN OUR LOCAL SCHOOLS. TRITON WILL ALSO HAVE TWO YOUNG SISTERS TO PLAY WITH. A BIG THANK YOU GOES OUT TO ALL OF THEM. TRITON WENT WITH SUE TO BE PART OF OUR SCHOOL DISTRICT'S (CIS) GALA PROGRAM AIMED TO HELP KEEP KIDS IN SCHOOL. TRITON WILL BE THE STAR DONATION OF THE PROGRAM ALONG WITH ALL OF THE TOP CCISD FOLKS THAT HELP KEEP OUR SCHOOLS SAFE AND FUN!!! WE ARE SO HONORED TO HAVE A CHANCE TO HELP OUT OUR COMMUNITY. WE LOVE YOU TRITON!
I would like to thank Sharon Lobo for her generous support of Communities in Schools-Bay Area. CIS is a Non-Profit Organization with a 97% success rate of keeping At-Risk Students in School.
This could not be accomplished without donations from individual/businesses like Precious Paws of Texas. Sharon donated a darling Chihuahua puppy for our annual fundraiser gala. As you can imagine the puppy was a huge success and is pictured here with his new parents. The funds raised by her donation will enable us to continue tutoring, mentoring and offering job experience to our students and improve their future.
I encourage you to look no further than Sharon Lobo and Precious Paws of Texas for your new best friend. Sharon was a delight to work with, her puppies are all adorable, well bred, good natured and well cared for. Did I mention adorable!!!
With gratitude,
Sue Ferguson

OUR SECOND TIME FUNDRAISER WINNERS! THESE TWO LUCKY PUPS COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER FAMILY!

Hi Sharon,
Sorry it has taken me so long to send this review. I wanted to share with all your prospective new parents what a great pleasure it was doing business with you. I felt very confident you breed the animals because you love them... not for the money. You take good care in providing a nurturing, healthy environment for all your dogs and when we took Kingston (Patches) home that was obvious. He adjusted well to his new home and is very happy. I thought it was quite professional of you to reimburse us for the fecal exam and medicine when he came back from the first vet visit and we found out that despite your diligent treatment he still had a little bit of parasites. Without me even having to ask, you offered to cover it despite the fact that it clearly states in the contract that parasites are not covered. Kingston is spoiled rotten (maybe because he is our first baby)!!! With lots of outdoor time in a big yard and a gazillion toys, who wouldn't be?!?! We also cook organic food for his meals each day, a variety if protein, whole grains and vegetables. Kingston has the best disposition! He is always so happy to see us when we get home and is the most cuddly loving dog I have ever had. He listens pretty well and always comes when I call him no matter how good whatever he is sniffing outside smells! Attached is a picture of him taken this week. Can you tell he has gained a whole pound? He can jump about 3 feet high and flies across the room when the doorbell rings. I have some fantastic pictures to send you but have to wait until I get our new computer to send them. (the computer I have now is too old and too full for me to download any more pictures on it) I was only able to send this one because it was on my phone. Rest assured I will not forget to send them when the time comes. I hope you are doing well!
Take Care,
Elizabeth Brown

Hello Sharon! Everything is perfect with our baby boy Gary Duke. He went to the vet Saturday, received a clean bill of health, and a few comments on his name and his adorableness. I gave your name and number to one lady, hopefully she'll call you. He was given another wormer and they gave me one to give him in 2 weeks. He needs to gain a few more ounces b4 he can get all the preventative meds. He's lovin the house and his siblings as well. Thanks so much for everything, we couldn't be happier.

I could not have asked for a more perfect new baby. I don't know how it ever worked out this way, but we are forever grateful to you and your family (and his mom and dad of course). I am so thankful every second that I met you. Your kindness and understanding helped get me over that last "little hump" of fear of actually accepting a new pet into my life, and I think if it wasn't for you- I would have never done it. So thank you- yet again. You brought happiness and laughter back into our home. I think I needed a friend, and we all needed something to help take the focus off a bad and worsening situation. It's funny. I don't know if you are religious, but I prayed for a friend- just one.. I never expected it to come in the shape of a dog. But it has. It truly has.. I am not lonely anymore. Even tearing up thinking about it. Sure it's just a dog as some say. But when you are a person who is all alone, it truly is a friend.
We thank you again, and send you hugs and wet puppy kisses!!
From our now bigger family to yours, ashley c

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you very much for our new family member, Abby. We love her so much, and she has really brought so much joy to our family. I also appreciate how well you puppy-litter-trained her; it is nice being able to skip all of that messy training phase. Also, thanks for baby-sitting Abby on our upcoming, pre-Abby-planned vacation. We will be able to enjoy our vacation knowing that she's in good hands.
